About this course

This program provides the drilling personnel with basic understanding of well control for surface stack operations. The course gives participants an awareness of well control theory, practices and equipment.

The course also introduces basic mathematical skills required to make complex calculations when working in the petroleum industry. This course also focuses on the well control issues associated with coiled tubing, intervention activities using the latest information and technology in maintaining control of the well.
